The WEATHERDOCK easyONE-M-DSC-CL is a compact and handy AIS MOB device with purely manual triggering.

The WEATHERDOCK easyONE-M has a manual release function which initializes the transmission of the AIS MOB emergency message.
- More than 36 hours running time after activation
- Transmission range from 7 - 8 nm (depending on the height of the receiving antenna)
- 1 Watt emitted power
- Suitable for use with life jacket

Function:
In the event of an acute emergency situation, the device is activated manually at the push of a button in order to be able to send an emergency message.
All you have to do is remove the transparent protective plate from the device with a short jerk on the safety line.
Then the "ON" button is free.

After activation, a DSC distress call is transmitted within a few seconds.
This is initially done without GPS coordinates and is received as an alarm by up to 8 ships in closed loop, whose MMSI numbers were programmed in advance via Bluetooth and Weatherdock app.
As soon as a GPS fix is available, a second alarm is sent via DSC to these ships, this time with GPS coordinates of the casualty.
This transmission is repeated for the next 30 minutes at intervals of 5 minutes.
After this time the interval doubles to 10 minutes.

After a successful GPS fix, an AIS emergency telegram is automatically transmitted to all AIS systems in the vicinity parallel to the DSC.
The AIS alarm is triggered every minute anew, with updated position data as well as information on course and speed over the cause of the accident in a possible drift.

Since the transmitted device ID begins with "972", every AIS receiver within a radius of 7 - 8 nautical miles (depending on weather conditions and the height of the receiving antenna) recognizes this transmission as an AIS MOB emergency call. On the chartplotter or the computer screen, the
symbol (red X with red circle) is displayed.
The two LEDs in the device make it easy to read the function of the WEATHERDOCK easyONE, making it extremely easy to use the device in an emergency situation.
When activated, the device has a permanent transmission time of more than 36 hours. Due to its small size and low weight, the WEATHERDOCK easyONE is the perfect companion. The WEATHERDOCK easyONE is immediately ready for use and requires no approvals or registrations.
