The Victron Energy EasyPlus is a multifunctional energy system that combines a powerful sine wave inverter, an advanced battery charger, a super-fast AC transfer switch and an AC distributor in a single lightweight and compact housing. The system is designed for people who want to enjoy the convenience and freedom of a complete energy system, but without wasting time installing individual components and difficult technical procedures.
The Victron Energy EasyPlus is a high quality multi-purpose power supply unit with a powerful sine wave converter, a dedicated battery charger, an ultra-fast transfer switch and an
AC distribution, all packaged in a compact and lightweight enclosure. The new system was developed for those users who appreciate the advantages of a complete power supply system and do not want to bother with complicated installation problems and cumbersome technical specifications.
The Victron Energy EasyPlus ensures an uninterruptible power supply where and when it is needed. The unique PowerAssist® functionality ensures the necessary power boost from the battery current when shore or generator power is limited. Maximum safety is ensured by the integrated residual current device (RCD).
The name EasyPlus stands for simple installation and trouble-free use. The system is installed in five installation steps, saving time and space. Victron Energy EasyPlus includes all connections (sockets and plugs) for the AC connections as well as the pre-assembled battery cables to shorten the installation time.
Step 1. After selecting the installation location (as close to the battery as possible), the wall mount is installed. The Victron Energy EasyPlus is attached to this using the screws supplied.
Step 2: The shore power/generator input and outputs (including the special boiler connection) are connected to the Victron Energy EasyPlus.
Step 3: The control panel (option) is connected with a UTP cable.
Step 4. the battery cable and temperature sensor (supplied) are connected to the batteries.
Step 5: After switching on the residual current circuit breaker (FI), the AC distributor and the converter/charger, the unit is ready for operation.
Victron Energy EasyPlus is connected to the batteries and the shore power or generator. The maximum current from the shore connection or generator is set on the control panel. The consumers are divided into two groups. The first includes "normal" short-term consumers such as kitchen appliances or sockets. These can be supplied either directly from the shore power/generator or indirectly from the batteries via the converter. The second group contains consumers such as the hot water boiler or the air conditioner. To protect the batteries from deep discharge, these consumers are only and exclusively operated directly via the generator or the shore connection. The unique PowerAssist® functionality protects the generator or shore connection from overload by providing the missing power from the battery via the inverter.
- 12 Volt 1600 VA inverter with sine wave (3000 Watt peak power)
- 70 A charger including 4 A trickle charge for the starter battery
- Unique PowerAssist® technology protects the shore or generator power source from overload by adding additional inverter power when needed.
- 4-stage adaptive charging technology for fast and accurate battery charging
- The AC distribution consists of a 30 mA/16 A residual current circuit breaker and four AC outputs protected by two 10 A and two 16 A fuses.
- One 16 A output is controlled by the AC input: it only switches on when AC power is available.
- Residual-current circuit breaker (30 mA/16 A) at the AC output
- Uninterruptible system: seamless switching between shore/generator and inverter power.
- Battery cable included
