Katadyn Expedition Wasserfilter

The Katadyn Expedition water filter is an extremely robustly built water filter. It is therefore particularly suitable for expeditions, river rafting, and camps. The Katadyn Expedition water filter can also be used optimally for group use. It filters the water using a 0.2 micron ceramic filter. This filter can also be cleaned separately. The water filter has a weight of 5.2 kg and dimensions of 58 x 20 cm. During its lifetime it filters approximately 100,000 litres of water. It cleans about 4 litres of water per minute.

Groups need safe and clean drinking water in large quantities. The Katadyn Expedition Katadyn Expedition water filter water filter is as indestructible as it is easy to operate and transport.

The high-performance filter is equipped with a silver-impregnated ceramic filter that removes bacteria, protozoa, and other pathogens. The mini-pores of the filter ceramic (pore size: 0.2 micron = 0.0002 mm) are smaller than the microorganisms mentioned. Due to their size, these cannot pass through the filter element and are removed from the water.

The Katadyn Expedition water filter water filter filters 4 liters per minute and is ideal for large groups of 10 or more people. It has a service life of up to 100,000 liters, but this depends on the water quality.

It is ideal for rafting organizers and NGOs as well as for trips by motor home or car.
