We are pleased to introduce the GPS160, a new high performance positioning sensor for GPS, Galileo and Glonass satellite systems with exceptional positioning accuracy and redundancy.
The Digital Yacht GPS160's TriNav technology is used to combine signals from all three systems (GPS, Glonass and Galileo) to calculate the best possible fixed accuracy and reliability for navigation. The Digital Yacht GPS160 can also be field programmed for a variety of modes such as individual GNSS operations (e.g. Galileo) as well as output configurations such as update rate, NMEA sentence structure, etc.
The Digital Yacht GPS160 is available with an NMEA 0183 output (4800, 38400 and 115200 baud programmable) and a USB version for PC, MAC and Linux. For NMEA 2000 systems, a package with iKonvert is available for easy and flexible NMEA 2000 installation.
For older SeaTalk1 systems, we offer a bundle with the SeaTalk to NMEA Adapter, which allows easy replacement of older Raystar sensors.
For wireless navigation with iPads, use our bundle with the WLN10SM NMEA to Wifi Gateway.
The Digital Yacht GPS160 also supports an external MOB switch or device. When activated, a "synthesised" AIS SART MOB message is created on the NMEA output, with MOB identification with a local plotter.
