With the ALBA-Combi module analogue engine and tank data can be converted into digital NMEA-2000 data. This data can then be displayed on current chart plotters from Raymarine, Simrad, Garmin, Lowrance, B&G and Furuno.
This way even older (analogue) motors can be integrated into a NMEA-2000 network and missing sensors of current motors can be easily retrofitted.
The analog sensors are connected directly to the module:
- 2x rpm
- 2x relay connections
- 1x Temperature (PTC1000)
- 6x analog encoders (via resistance or voltage measurement)
- 6x analog encoders (voltage measurement)
- 1x Shunt (current)
The calibration of the encoder values is carried out conveniently via Ethernet using a PC with a browser.
The calibration is stored in the ALBA-Combi module.
For each sensor 8 measuring points can be set for the calibration. This also allows non-linear measurements (tank).
The mounting is provided on a 35mm DIN rail (scope of delivery) (the connection to the NMEA-2000 network is made with open wires directly to 5 correspondingly labelled connections on the device).
Power supply: 12V (9-18 V DC) - via the NMEA-2000 network
Power consumption: LEN3 (NMEA2000) ~ 150mA
