The cornerstones of Rob's design concept are on-water performance and the attractive Elan lines in Classic Racer and Cruiser Mode. Elan: Quality and assurance of yacht design
Elan Marine allows each customer's special requirements to be catered for. The hull and deck are developed through a vacuum assisted infusion lamination process during which a high quality fibre-resin mixture is used. This intricate operation cannot be replaced by manual labour. The connections between hull and deck are secured so well that they hold out in even the most adverse conditions. The particular Elan elegance and longevity of the Elan interior fittings is ensured by qualified craftsmen.

Shipyard history - Elan Marine
The Elan Marine shipyard has been situated in Begunje, Slovenia, as early as 1949, the year in which the company was founded. Nowadays the company has 340 employees. The entire production process takes place securely in production halls. In 2003 Elan Marine unveiled a new assembly line system at the same time as introducing environmentally friendly VAIL (vacuum assisted infusion lamination) technology. The whole Elan production area of 16000 square meters was expanded once again in 2007, in order to enable the construction of larger yachts.
