Why Aquanaut?
Every part of an Aquanaut is constructed and designed under one roof. Customers are offered complete flexibility in interior and exterior works. The level of quality control is the best in the Netherlands, according to the Lloyds Register ISO 9001. Aquanaut has more than 45 years of experience in yacht building. Aquanaut Yachting Holland also presides over the exclusive import of fiberglass motor yachts for the Netherlands, yachts such as Aquador, Bella, Flipper, Crescent and Yamarin. Aquanaut Yachting Holland is also the distributor for Yamaha outboard motors and Yam inflatables for Sneek and the surrounding areas. The shipyard also runs a yacht charter sector.
Aquanaut yachts: under one roof from the beginning
From the keel laying right through to the delivery, the Aquanaut boats pass through all stages of their creation under the shipyard roof: From the construction at the CAD workplace in the Casco Building, through to the interior fitting and the five-layer two-component special spray paint in the own Aquanaut spray hall. Flexibility and innovation are traditions at Aquanaut Yachting Holland.
Aquanaut: He who rests, rusts...
Only the continuous improvement of the Aquanaut production methods, such as the design and manufacture using CAD/CAM, and investments in specially developed steel forming and cutting machines enable Aquanaut to consistently provide customers with an exceptional range of offers.
High-tech in the machine park of the Aquanaut shipyard
The Aquanaut steel construction hall boasts some of the best specialists from the Netherlands as well as the most modern machine park in the country. This includes, among other things, a CNC plasma cutting machine whose work data is entered directly from the design office. This ensures design and application stay in close harmony. The same applies to the CNC bending machine, which makes possible the beautiful rounded shapes in the Aquanaut yachts.
Aquanaut Paintwork - The finishing touch to the ship
Every Aquanaut yacht gets its finishing touch in the large spray painting halls. In a complex process, the Aquanaut yachts are brought to a high gloss finish before being allowed to enter the water for the first time. It has been a long journey from the first hand painted boat coatings painted on with just a brush, to the three ultra-modern spray paint booths of today. But it was never too arduous a task to guarantee the Aquanaut customer the highest level of quality.
The customer’s wish is Aquanaut’s command
Aquanaut customers benefit from many different interior design variations. There are no limits to their influence on the design and arrangement, right through to the individual execution and the selection of the high quality materials used. The Aquanaut interior designers and staff in the joinery fulfill future owners’ every desire and give expert advice on the planning and execution. This special service from Aquanaut is very popular! The ERP type software, which has been further developed by Aquanaut, makes it possible to immediately forward all special requests of customers to the workshop and the relevant department.
Aquanaut - Trust is good, control is better
In addition to the obligatory final quality control check of the Aquanaut boat before it is handed over to the new owner, interim controls for quality assurance occur after the boat has passed through each department. This ensures that each stage of Aquanaut development (hull construction, painting, wood interior design, interior design/installation) is subject to stringent testing.
